Join Bart’s Books and Stewart Lawrence Sinclair on Saturday
June 24th from 6:30-7:30 pm for a talk on Juggling
“Describing juggling as a hobby, an obsession, and a world, Stewart Lawrence Sinclair pulls us deeper and deeper into not just the world of the juggler but the mind of the juggler. Juggling is great catchy fun and way deeper than I expected.” — Ander Monson, author of Predator: A Memoir, A Movie, an Obsession
New from Duke University’s Practices Series– books by and about amateurs in the original sense– those who engage in pursuits out of sheer love and fascination, Juggling by Stewart Lawrence Sinclair is a whimsical, scientific, and embodied book with local roots. The author learned to juggle at the Boys and Girls Club in Ventura.
For those interested in practicing after the author talk, juggling materials will be provided!
