Maliah : singer/songwriter;

Raised on a sweet mix of blues, and jazz. Maliah’s sound has always been effortless. She has been singing, writing songs and poems from the age of four. Her first professional release was a song called “shade” at age 17. Nominated and awarded Best R&B singer in “Ventura County Music Awards”. Signed and worked with Grammy award winning music producer, Alex the kid who created the label Kid iN Da Korner at Universal music group. As of late has put a band together, pulling from her roots with a culmination of band mates who have played with her since she was a small one. They recently performed at Ventura’s iconic Surf Rodeo festival this past summer and have been writing and playing many new songs. Here is the lineup,

Rex: on Drums,

He has been a great asset with his experience and drive as a musician. Multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. Her dad, who has inspired her in several ways, brings respect, and sink to the music.

Joey: Lead Guitar

– Dynamic metal, blues, and classical guitarist. Writing, leading, performing, and touring has always been a huge part of him. Joey’s sound is unique due to his vast knowledge and playing all forms of music. Joey adds a unique transformation and rugged blend, pulling from Maliah’s jazz and blues roots infusing the old and new in a progressive and traditional way.

Jessica Bush:

Keys – Born into a musical family, started playing piano at seven, continuing with her music and education at Cal Poly. Developing her original sound categorized as soulful folk rock. She plays with several bands and is an experienced solo artist. This new addition relates with Maliah’s youth and ability to share her old soul style and modern vibe.
