Beekeeping with Steve from Mission Beekeeping
Beekeeper Steve will share his best beekeeping practices that he has learned over the past decade of keeping his own bees.
He started as a hobbyist beekeeper with a few hives in the backyard and has grown into a commercial beekeeper with nearly 800 hives on different farms in Ventura County. This workshop will outline month by month, what you can do to keep your bees healthy and will cover mite treatment, pulling honey, splitting hives, stacking boxes, maintaining hive temperature and more.
