Join us at the Ojai Raptor Center to celebrate birds, and learn about migration & conservation!

On November 12th, 2023 from 11AM-3PM the Center will open its doors to the public for a fun afternoon full of performances, presentations, interactive games, activities, and live auction. No live birds will be present at this event. Musical performances will be provided by Kerri Climer, Tara Jeffreys and The Three Cheers. The Aerial Studio will be performing on stage and presentations given by Ojai Ornithologist Peter Laramendy and Chumash elder Julie Tumamite-Stenslie. Bird walks will be facilitated by the Oxnard Birder’s Club, guests will receive bird-friendly native plant seed packets provided by the California Native Plant Society, and bird-friendly coffee samples by Birds and Beans Coffee. Walk through ORC’s Freedom Flight; California’s largest flight cage for raptors in rehabilitation and enjoy pizza by the slice by Ojai’s favorite, Air Pizza.
