OVA Arts will have live music with Lynn Mullins, a variety of wines and hors d’oeuvres.

“When I was 14, I met a friend who played guitar and we sang folk tunes. That evolved into surf music and I started playing electric bass.

Then it was rock and roll, the Beatles and the Stones.  Then the blues.  How do you shake the blues?  Blue Grass. At 21 I had the opportunity to play with a very established Blue Grass/Country band (the Floyd County Boys) in Santa Barbara.  I played Fender Bass and vocals with them for two plus years three nights a week 9 pm to 2:00 am. Since then I’ve been in a dozen bands including the Milton Kelley Band, Lynn Mullins Pick Up Band, and most recently Coyote Creek band.

At this point, my music is a fusion of all these elements.  I’m primarily inspired by good vocals and meaningful lyrics.  I’ve also added a a bit of cross harp on the rack to the guitar and singing.” – Lynn
