INTRODUCTION TO ESALEN® MASSAGE

Come join us at the beautiful Topa Institute in Ojai for this opportunity to learn the essential skills of Esalen massage, and Listen, Speak, Touch from the Heart.

Your teachers will be Paul Magoulas, teacher, organizer and Council carrier, and Vicki Topp, special guest teacher and co-founder of Esalen massage.

Esalen Massage is taught as a meditation, a journey… In working with each other, giving and receiving becomes a physical and energetic sharing of the possibilities of human touch.

Deep compassionate heartful movements will be our base for the long lengthening integration moves that are the signature of Esalen Massage.

Come prepared to Touch and be touched in this serene and magical environment, move your body, and practice Communication skills in the Council House tradition.

Saturday evening will be free time for a stroll in downtown Ojai, with its busy restaurants, breweries, and Arcade.

If you’re staying on the property there will be a wood fire in the Kiva, and you may be fortunate enough to catch the Ojai Pink Moment as the sunset bathes the TopaTopa ridges above the Institute in rich pink, orange, and purple hues.

This experiential workshop is open to all levels of experience and identities. Come alone or bring a friend or partner, we’d love to have you join us.

Esalen Massage and Bodywork is taught worldwide, across the US, in Canada, South America, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Bali, and China. The courses range from introductory weekends to advanced trainings and professional certifications.
