Surrounded by citrus trees and succulents, Firestick Pottery & Gallery is the creative workshop for more than local 20 artists. Visitors may shop in the gallery, tour the studio, or take a quick pottery workshop. Our gallery and studio are open from 10 to 6, every day except for Tuesday.

TRY YOUR HAND AT “THROWING A POT”

Firestick offers both introductory and ongoing classes in wheel-throwing and hand-building. ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. Workshops are open to the public and may include painting on pottery, pit firing, raku firing, or planting a “succulent garden” in a ceramic creation.

PLAN A POTTERY PARTY

Visitors may arrange for private lessons or plan a “Pottery Party” for up to 8 people. Studio tours are also available every Saturday morning. Call for reservations: 805 272.8760.

A HOME FOR CREATIVE COLLABORATION

Firestick is a home for experienced artists AND serious students. Historically pottery has been made in a community. Our community supports cross pollination of skills, creative ideas and resources. Teachers and master potters are available on-site. Monthly memberships, firing services and regular exhibitions are all available at a low cost.
