Urgent Appeal and Fundraising Update

Dear Friends of The Ojai Retreat,

Thank you very much for your quick response to our recent urgent fundraising appeal! So far, we have received $65,000 in donations ($5,000 are pledges) and many encouraging letters and emails. We wish to thank you very much!

However, we still need approx. $135,000 by the end of this year to prevent closure.

If you have not received our previous email with the explanation of our financial challenge, please click here. Since many friends reported that our previous fundraising email went into their spam, we have changed our email service provider to Constant Contact to prevent this. Also, a first class marketing expert is donating her time to help us improve our overall marketing operations, to include email marketing, social media and fundraising campaigns.

If you wish to save this special Ojai treasure, please make your tax-deductible donation today. We would highly appreciate it. Or please ask friends who might be able to help or who need a tax write-off.

If you feel more comfortable making a pledge (instead of a donation), feel free to do so. This would mean that you only would make a donation when we reached the total goal of $200,000 by December 31, 2018, including your pledge.

Please Join Us: Public Meeting on Saturday, December 8th, 2018

We’ll have a special information meeting on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11 AM at The Ojai Retreat, to inform you about our financial challenge. We will present the short and long term solutions, show you pictures of the cabins we plan to add at the west end of the property, and present a video with positive guest and community testimonials.
